Janie Crow, MS, LAC

Intake Coordinator & Counselor

Janie has her Master of Science in Counseling and is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). She is trained in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Janie’s passion is to provide a safe space for the vulnerable and unseen parts of of each of her clients to be seen and met with care and compassion. She believes everyone’s story is valuable and worthy of taking up space. For Janie, the counseling room is a place for pain to be heard, valued, explored, and healed in the context of a safe relationship.

Janie has 10+ years of experience working with teenagers and young adults and has also worked with single parents, ministry and nonprofit workers, and individuals in helping roles. Some presenting issues  Janie works with are anxiety, depression, grief & loss, self-image struggles, trauma recovery, and relationship difficulties.

Janie also serves as Gap Relief’s Intake Coordinator. She is passionate about client care, and works diligently to ensure that each service inquiry is met with compassion and care as she connects each client and partner to the Gap Relief team members and services that best meet their needs.
